Pamela R. Browne

Chief Executive Officer, Hope House Treatment Centers

Pamela R. Browne is an accomplished behavioral health leader with over 20 years of experience working with vulnerable populations. As a consultant with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA -- U.S. Department of Health and Human Services), she traveled nationwide providing technical assistance and organizational development trainings to groups who specialize in integrating behavioral health service delivery for those experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. She also worked as a director for Total Health Care, Inc. (THC), one of Maryland’s largest Federally Qualified Health Centers, where she spearheaded the opening of THC’s first health center in Anne Arundel County, MD.

Pamela is a graduate of the George Washington University Health Policy Leadership Fellow program and is a nationally certified emergency responder recognized by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  In 2020, she was acknowledged by the Anne Arundel County Government as a recipient of the Michele Obama Leadership Award. Pamela also serves as the president of the board of directors for the Opportunities Industrialization Center of Anne Arundel County. She studied mass communications at Towson University, earned a Master of Human Services degree from Lincoln University and is currently a doctoral student at Morgan State University.
