Hope House returns as a platinum sponsor for the 34th Annual Tuerk Conference on Mental Health and Addiction Treatment on 9/15, at the Baltimore Convention Center from 8am-5pm. The purpose of this conference is to increase the participant’s understanding of current issues in the field of mental health and substance use disorders. This year’s conference includes presentations related to: new street drugs, the impact of fentanyl on overdoses, the legalization of marijuana, the opioid settlement funding, the effect of trauma on vulnerable persons, alcohol and the workplace, and the availability of telemedicine to treat opioid use disorders.
